The college plays a pivotal role in shaping and developing its students throughout their academic journey, creating a unique bond that endures long after graduation. In recognition of this lasting relationship, MM’s Shankarrao Chavan Law College has established its Alumni Association, a registered body under Reg. No. MH/1352/2017/Pune.

The Association serves as a vital link between the institution and its former students, nurturing their connection with the college even after they complete their formal education. It encourages alumni participation through various initiatives such as the Annual Alumni Meet, guest lectures, and their engagement as resource persons for academic programs. Alumni also contribute significantly by offering training opportunities, internships, and placement support to current students. Additionally, they extend both moral and financial assistance by organizing field visits, conducting the Alumni Lecture Series, and participating in activities like Lok Adalats.

Objectives of the Association

To foster close relations among alumni by organizing events, reunions, and networking opportunities that strengthen community ties and nurture a lifelong sense of belonging.
To maintain an updated and comprehensive database of former students, including their contact information, year of graduation, and professional details, enabling effective communication and outreach.
To provide a platform for alumni to mentor current students, offering guidance on career development, professional pathways, and emerging trends across various legal and allied fields.
