Formerly, (and even today) sentimentally referred to as The Old Girls’ Association, The Old Cottonians’ Association, Bishop Cotton Girls’ School, as it exists today has been active for over 60 years. Primarily to help Old Cottonians connect with their alma mater and with old school friends, an active and vibrant alumni has contributed towards its varied activities over the years.

In the early years the Association has contributed books to the School library and furniture, and added computers to the facility started by the School. Over time we felt that our resources would be helpful in organising life skills workshops and career guidance sessions for the senior classes. As these activities began to be taken over by the School itself, we have moved on to more events like counselling sessions, dance competitions, fashion shows.

In recognition of the assistance given to us by faculty and maintenance staff, we have felicitated them on various occasions and organised lunches and get togethers for them to show our appreciation.

We continue to try to think of new ideas and ways in which we can strengthen our bonds with the School at all levels. We also are constantly exploring innovative ways in which to bring together Cottonians from across the world. Our Coffee Mornings, held for OCs is the highlight of the year!
